Harcourts has been fostering young talent and building the agents of tomorrow through its training centre, with graduates securing industry roles following mentoring and real-world education.
Harcourts has announced that another graduate of its Real Estate Training Centre has successfully secured a role in the real estate industry, following the completion of the network’s comprehensive training program.
Madeline Philips received her first role in the industry as an asset manager with Harcourts Launceston immediately after finishing the program.
The network said the achievement reflects the success of the centre and its approach to real estate education as well as its commitment to equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Harcourts said the training program enables students to access the courses 24/7, allowing them to study at their convenience and from anywhere.
It said its performance coaches are go-to experts for everything, from learning content to assessment tasks to study guidance.
“All our coaches are licensed real estate agents with years of hands-on experience, still actively working in the industry today,” Harcourts told REB.
“This isn’t just theory; it’s real-world knowledge from people who live and breathe real estate.”
The network added that the connection between the student and the coach is pivotal to the program and positions the student for success.
“They’re there to offer personalised guidance and support, creating a mentor-mentee relationship that is truly second to none,” it said.
The network added that its courses are comprehensive and cover all facets of the real estate world.
The course includes the teaching of legal and ethical foundations, roles and responsibilities, agency operations and practical skills.
Kate Littlejohn, director of Harcourts Launceston, said Philips will be an asset to the team.
“We are thrilled to welcome Maddie to our team and look forward to her contributions,” she said.
Philips said the skills and knowledge she gained during the program were key to securing the position at Harcourts Launceston.
In particular, she said the course helped to improve her communication and people skills.
“I felt supported every step of the way, and I knew that I always had someone I could contact if I was struggling at any point with my studies,” she added.
