Agents will have access to personal touch support and better client experiences at scale, thanks to a new proptech agreement between Market Buy and Podium.

Market Buy has revealed it will be teaming up with interaction management platform Podium to offer the new service to thousands of agents.

A statement unveiling the new service said that Podium will allow interactions between Market Buy and agents to be moved across to text messages, in a move that will reduce wait times and complexity, and remove the need for agents to rely on phone calls for assistance.

Market Buy has reported that the switch to SMS will both reduce agent frustrations and improve its bandwidth for support.

With Podium, queries from agents are directed immediately to the appropriate account manager, who is notified to continue the conversation via SMS, allowing them to handle 20 to 30 support queries at once.

It’s a partnership that’s already paying off, according to the founder and managing director of Markey Buy, David Stewart.

“Already, our average response time has plummeted to just 10 minutes and issues are usually solved in the same amount of time,” he highlighted.

“Most importantly, our clients are still getting human responses from real human beings with an innate understanding of the real estate industry.”

Dave Scheine, the Australian country manager for Podium, said the business had been “incredibly excited” to see how Market Buy could use Podium to power interactions.

“With Podium, they can provide personalised communication at scale, supporting both their agents and Market Buy themselves as they continue to expand here and into the US,” Mr Scheine said.

The partnership between the two players has already led to more discussions around how both businesses can extend their partnership to better support the real estate industry and provide greater opportunities for agents to improve their own interactions with clients.
