Major networks embrace new marketing tool

A growing number of Australia’s leading real estate networks have embraced a new marketing solution in a bid to control rising advertising costs and maintain control of customer data, VMG has said.

A string of agencies including Highland, Marshall White, and BresicWhitney have joined forces with View Media Group (VMG) for the view.resi platform, a marketing suite that launched in late 2024.

Other recent adopters announced today (15 May) include Abercrombys, Clarke & Humel, Sotheby’s Byron Bay, Kim Jones & Co, Richardson & Wrench, and BigginScott Richmond.

VMG’s view.resi offering includes Acquire, a white-labelled premium listing tool that captures off-portal traffic and redirects it to the agent’s own website. It also integrates Claire, an AI tool developed by Propic – with both solutions looking to improve lead quality.

VMG said the platform helps agents reduce marketing expenses, reduce dependency on major portals, and take back ownership of their customer data – all while leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to drive results.

“It’s clear the industry has been waiting for a solution like ours,” said VMG executive chairman Antony Catalano. “The major portals simply can’t do what we are doing, with their reliance on annual price increases and their audience extension products that use marketing funds to push buyers back to the portal listing, pumping up listing performance rather than driving those buyers back to the agents’ website.”

According to VMG, listings on view.com.au have lifted open home attendance by up to 27 per cent.

Marshall White Group sales director, John Bongiorno, praised the technology, calling it a game changer for both current campaigns and future business. It not only provides market-leading technology that ensures we maximise exposure to buyers, but also helps us find our next vendor, he said. “The industry is getting smarter and we aim to stay ahead of the pack.”

Founded in 2022, VMG has established itself as a key player in the property technology space, with a stable of companies including view.com.au, Today Media, Propic, AD Group, The Property Agency, and Beevo.
