Domain for Agents boosts listing potential

Real estate agents have already benefited from utilising Domain to heighten their selling potential, but the property portal has extended its reach with a tool to help agents win new listings.

Domain for Agents is an extension of the platform many agents across Australia have already harnessed to expand their sales success.


Many Australians regularly visit the portal, and Domain has developed a way to utilise those viewing habits to support agents.

"What we are trying to do is help agents turn the raw data they have at their fingertips and turning it into insights for their market," Domain Product Management and Agent Services director Benjamin Patton said.

The platform allows agents to view the performance of their listings in real-time, check new appraisals that come in, and dive deeper into inquires that come in for their listing with a higher level of insight.

The tools will be able to determine which inquiries are from people who are more engaged in the property market, resulting in more serious buyers and sellers.

"Domain for Agents is designed to be the hub of an agent's day," Mr Patton said. "It is an opportunity for them to sign in with their Domain credentials and be presented with the listings they have on the market."

Although there are a lot of players in the property market, none of them has the intelligence Domain can provide, and their platforms do not stack up to Domain's, he said.

"Our goal with the agent portal is to partner with agents, and rather than selling agents leads and having a pay to play model, we want to acknowledge agents are working in a good system, and we want to partner with them to win business. We can help them find new sellers, identify new buyers, and save them time on a daily basis."

There is no additional cost to access the deeper insights provided on Domain for Agents.

"Domain for Agents enriches the value agents can provide their customers through a range of unique market and listing insights," Domain chief product officer Maty Paule said.

"These features are all developed specifically to help agents win new listings, making informed decisions for their campaigns and transact properties faster."
