Despite the return of on-site auctions, challenges for Real Estate Agents remain

As Australia battles COVID-19, many industries are awaiting the bounce back of the economy. Real Estate is one of those. Here is a solution helping agents get business across the line.

While many believe the property industry should return as the rest of the economy does, agents argue that they are struggling to create competition due to a lack of buyers as well as a lack of properties being available to sell.

In April, the property industry experienced a 40% reduction in transactions as unemployment rose and consumer confidence plummeted to record lows. There is no doubt this lack of demand is having a negative impact on Real Estate Agents.

At the height of COVID-19, we saw agents using smart solutions to reduce the impact of social distancing, like providing pre-recorded virtual house tours or auctions via video call. But the question remains around limited property stock and how agents can get ahead of competitors to keep the future of their firm secure.

One solution helping real estate agents to get business across the line is InfoTrack’s Rescue Package for Real Estate Agents. The Rescue Package consists of four digital tools to help agents list quickly and sell effectively and is available now to all current and new InfoTrack Real Estate clients until June 30th, 2020.

What's included in the Rescue Package?

  • Complimentary, unlimited usage of SignIT: a quick and simple solution allowing you to get contracts and listing documents signed electronically. E-signing is fast becoming the easiest and fastest way to complete documentation. E-signing saves you time, reduces costs and administration work. SignIT allows you to upload any document and send it to relevant parties via a secure email link. Parties can then review and sign the document online from any location.  For your clients, this means they can sign documentation from the comfort of their own home or when on the go, providing them with an easy and efficient service they are sure to complement you on.
  • Search digital Property Titles at cost price. InfoTrack has a national property search functionality that offers a complete range of land property searches. Service your clients well with comprehensive information.
  • Unlimited access to the Open for Business marketing toolkit. Download badges for your email signature and social media profiles and posts to let your customers know you are ready to sell property digitally. Letting your networks know you can still conduct business as usual, during this unusual time, is an easy way to position you and your agency in a favourable light against competitors.
  • Complimentary, unlimited usage of Securexchange: A website to securely exchange confidential information like trust account and bank details, and other important documents between relevant parties. Protect your commission and ensure an easy and efficient exchange for your client. Give your clients confidence that their funds and private information will be safe with Securexchange.

Even before COVID-19, Securexchange has had a significant impact on agents using it. Michael Garside from Harcourts Dapto said Securexchange, “We have been using Securexchange for about 6 months and have found the service to be excellent. No more worries of getting bank details correct and it has also made the process easy whether we are sharing our bank details or obtaining clients details. The setup is easy and customer service brilliant.”

Similarly, Nyree Ewings from LJ Hooker Cleveland finds, “Securexchange allows my clients to go to one place for all confidential and sensitive information. I don’t need to be concerned about emails and waiting to hear if they got the information. It’s easy to share bank account details and documents – including contracts of sale. I know we are all protected in Securexchange, and that means one less thing for my clients and I to worry about.”

While stock may currently be limited for Real Estate Agents, there is no denying as consumer confidence returns, so will the property market. InfoTrack’s Rescue Package aims to help agents service their clients quickly and efficiently, instilling confidence and creating a better client experience. In turn this will enhance agents’ reputation.

InfoTrack’s suite of cloud-based products have been built for use anywhere at any time, keeping up with you when you are out and about or in the office. To find out how you can further digitise your processes, get started with InfoTrack today.
