The network is looking to harness Betty Giovas’ unique background spanning proptech and property management to enhance its NSW operations.
Giovas has become a specialist in managing the implementation of software into real estate teams. With 24 years in the industry, her experience includes a number of different roles across technology and property management, including several years spent as a trust accountant.
For the past eight years she has focused on helping real estate offices manage the transition to new software, including as an independent consultant running her own business.
She also boasts 12 years of experience in facilitating training sessions to help agencies optimise their operations, helping them harness tech to create more efficient and effective teams.
These qualifications, coupled with her customer experience management, which includes a stint at Domain, recommended her for the job of NSW property operations manager, according to Harcourts’ NSW CEO Katrina Tarrant.
“It was her profound expertise in proptech and her relentless pursuit of excellence that initially caught my attention,” Tarrant noted.
“Yet, it wasn’t just her professional background that stood out to me; it was her warmth and genuine compassion. These qualities resonated with me deeply, aligning perfectly with our mission to provide unparalleled real estate services. I am truly excited about the future,” she added.
According to Tarrant, the state-based team will be looking to harness Giovas’ particular strengths in order to accomplish some of the targets it has set for the year ahead.
“We have set some ambitious goals for ourselves at Harcourts NSW, and with Betty joining our ranks, I am more confident than ever,” Tarrant added.
