New communication technology has paid off in spades for one Potts Point office, which has utilised a number of platforms to retain repeat and referral business.

Raine & Horne Potts Point/Elizabeth Bay has continued to transact, thanks to the team’s consistent repeat and referral business. The new office was launched by Jane and Sam Schumann and Luke Hogan with a goal to offer a superior service to those wanting to buy and sell in Sydney’s eastern suburbs and beyond.

“We [have] had several eastern suburbs sales including a magnificent terrace at 23 Richards Avenue, Surry Hills, that transacted for $3.025 million prior to auction,” Ms Schumann said on the team’s success so far.

“Potts Point is such a vibrant and exciting place to live and operate a real estate business. We sell right throughout the eastern suburbs and lower north shore. These are markets which have already bounced back strongly.”

While some would find launching a new business in the current climate a daunting task, Ms Schumann said repeat and referral business has kept them going, along with some new recruits “in anticipation of our sales and property management businesses firing up again”.

The team has been able to further cement its repeat and referral business by “zooming into new communication technology”, according to Ms Schumann.

The new Potts Point office is ultra-chic with massive exposure and the team is committed to bringing outstanding customer service and outcomes, powered by a suite of leading-edge technology that is exclusive to Raine & Horne, a statement from the network confirmed.

These platforms include Compass Plus, Digikit and Amplify. The firm is also using an external platform called Managed App, a property management and investment tool, Mr Sam Schumann noted.

“We want our office to run without paper and with information at our fingertips. The systems we have in place allow us to grow, paying more attention to clients and less to admin,” he said.

Further, the Potts Point/Elizabeth Bay office has been running a fortnightly client webinar series since March, hosted by Paul O’Hanlon and Ms Schumann, Mr Schumann and Mr Hogan.

The webinars showcase the Potts Point/Elizabeth Bay firm’s latest listings, as well commentary from experts in legal, finance and renovation services, attracting over 1,000 participants every week.

“Already we’ve hosted webinars with Tom Hawley from Azura Financial and Cooley Auctions’ Damien Cooley, which were a hit with our clients,” Mr Schumann said.

“Whether you’re a buyer, seller, investor or starting your journey on the real estate ladder, we’ll ensure you get the best advice, latest news and data to help you make the right choices.

“Our webinars put our clients at the forefront of the market, and the team and the experts are able to answer all their questions — and the feedback has been fabulous.”
