A new learning hub aims to ensure that real estate teams across Australia and New Zealand can be more productive, efficient and profitable.
The PropTech Group Learning Hub has been touted as becoming the industry’s new go-to resource for training — accessed on PropTech Group’s VaultRE and Eagle CRM products.
The group’s Eagle CRM system was recently boosted by a partnership with digital assistance software RiTA, which allows agencies to generate more leads from their CRM and clean their data through artificial intelligence, while a new buy-now-pay-later provider, Rello, was brought on board with the company and rolled out across its VaultRE and Eagle CRM.
PropTech Group’s chief commercial officer Luke Thomas has compared how agencies use technology to how humans supposedly utilise their brain capacity.
“I have heard it said that we humans only use about 10 per cent of our brains,” he said. “I don’t know if that’s true, but I do know that only a few agencies use more than about half of the capabilities in Eagle, VaultRE, and Designly.
“For example, many VaultRE users never turn on the ability to send automated responses to enquiries coming from the portals, even though this could save them 10 minutes per enquiry and can also automatically qualify their buyers for them.”
He claims that 42 per cent of agencies use these tools “all day, every day” and that “investing a little time in making the most of them can deliver an immediate productivity boost”.
“This is especially important today, when agents have to work harder to win new listings and principals may be reluctant to hire new staff,” he said.
The Learning Hub will look to plug the gap in the industry vacated by high-quality and affordable training for principals and their teams, with the first stage of the program’s launch set to provide “bespoke, custom training and consulting”.
Options are available for agencies, which include being able to sign up “for as little as two hours of training or save money by purchasing packages that give you more hours at a discounted rate”.
The proposed next stage of the hub will reportedly see pathways that lead to certifications and CPD points offered.
“Close to half of the industry uses one of our CRMs, so up-skilling our user base will have huge benefits to the industry,” he concluded.
