The network has indicated it is doubling down on “the future of sales”, nabbing a former REA executive for the new role.

DiJones has announced that Darryn McRae will be taking on the head of sales innovation role, stating that the brand is placing a strong focus on delivering what the modern sales function requires.

Group chief executive officer Dean Mackie acknowledges “we are operating in a very different and ever evolving world to what the current sales processes and tools cater for”.

He explained that “in order to not only grow the agency and serve our clients, Darryn will take a refreshed approach to the real estate sales process”.

Mr McRae’s primary focus will be to implement the right sales processes and enable the network’s sales teams to understand and utilise technology.

“Additionally, Darryn will lead recruitment and coaching of our sales team, fostering a culture of innovation and equipping them with the necessary tools to achieve optimal outcomes,” Mr Mackie said, before highlighting that the role will also partner with all other functions within the DiJones business “to ensure sales innovation becomes and remains a strategic imperative”.

“This appointment also reinforces our ongoing commitment to investing in our people, data, and technology and ensuring a return on investment for us and a better experience for our clients.”

Mr McRae himself shared that joining the brand represented a “unique opportunity”.

“After meeting with the DiJones executive team, I was impressed by the cultural environment they have created and their vision for the future where they are focusing on combining a healthy sales channel with investing heavily in the projects that deliver long-term benefits for the business, agents, and our clients.”

In saying that, he also places “equal importance on unrivalled customer experience and quality relationships on all levels”.

Mr McRae also shared that his expertise in keeping up with industry trends and leading teams through sales transformations will be invaluable within his new role, citing how his “strong background in the advertising and account management side of the real estate industry sets me apart and positions us well to drive growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences”.

“I have 20 years in the digital sales and management space, keeping up to date with trends and developments whilst leading teams and customers through transformation and can’t wait to see what we can achieve at DiJones.”
