Fast growing property management solution and digital rental payments pioneer Managed has completed an integration with leasing applications and management solution Snug.
The integration between Managed and Snug will enable seamless data flows between leasing and management while saving property managers time.
According to Managed, the new development streamlines efficiencies for property managers by slashing manual data entry and reducing errors.
Reaction from agencies on the Managed platform to the integration has been positive.
Melbourne’s top luxury real estate agency Marshall White said the integration eased the administrative burden for leasing agents, property managers and the administration team.
Marshall White’s senior leasing consultant, Danielle Crumblehulme, said that prior to the integration, the leasing agents were generating and sending a new leasing request (along with the downloaded application) to the property manager and administration team as a reference point for all applicants.
“With this integration, that data is now sent directly from Snug to Managed. The lease term and the renters’ details integrate straight into Managed,” she said.
“Another great benefit is that when the new tenant profile is created in Managed, these are hyperlinked to Snug so we don’t need to download the application anymore. We’ve got direct access from the renter page.
“This saves a lot of data storage and ensures security of our customers’ personal data. It has streamlined the lease process.”
The integration with Snug is one of several by Managed to deliver better outcomes and greater efficiencies for its customers.
Managed has a growing number of integrations with key property management resources.
This includes Detector Inspector for improved compliance workflows, and connectnow for enhanced tenant utility connection.
Furthermore the platform has more exciting new integrations in the pipeline, to be unveiled later this year, according to the company.
Managed is an end-to-end property management solution that is built around a digital rental payments’ platform. It enables property managers to run every aspect of their rent roll, including maintenance via the tradie marketplace, with the additional benefit of actioning all payments instantly without a trust account.
Snug – which was established in 2017 – streamlines the leasing process for property managers by providing rental application features, enquiry autoresponders, prospecting tools, open home inspection bookings, and communication tools. It ensures data privacy and security to reduce risk for agencies.
The unique Managed proposition appealed to Snug and led to its decision to integrate, according to Snug’s CEO and founder, Justin Butterworth.
“We decided to integrate with Managed because of its innovative end-to-end property management solution that aligns with Snug’s vision of offering a simplified and superior leasing experience,” he said.
“This integration allows property managers to operate more efficiently by enabling seamless onboarding of the approved applicant from Snug into Managed.”
Butterworth praised Managed for providing a collaborative process while developing the integration solution from project discovery, specification, development, and iterative refinements after implementation.
“We’ve found the Managed team easy and efficient to deal with,” he said.
“Managed is an excellent technology partner for our business. We’re excited about ongoing collaboration to help mutual customers achieve long-term success through our partnership.”
Managed chief operating officer Rohith George believes customers have already been “reaping the benefits of the Snug integration, including reduced data entry, significant time savings, and therefore, faster time to secure a lease”.
