The mortgage giant enters the listings market with 100,000 properties as it targets end-to-end ownership journey.
Aussie has launched a national property listings platform and agent services business as part of a major brand overhaul that positions the 33-year-old mortgage broker as a full-service player across the real estate transaction.
The initiative forms the backbone of Aussie’s new Find. Buy. Own. campaign, a national media push aimed at addressing consumer uncertainty in an increasingly complex property market.
The campaign spans television, digital, radio, and outdoor media.
At the centre of the strategy is Aussie’s Property Search, a listings portal that already hosts more than 100,000 properties.
In a direct challenge to traditional portals, Aussie is offering real estate agents the ability to list at no cost via its new Aussie for Agents platform.
The zero-cost listing model, which covers off-market, pre-market, and on-market properties, including auctions, is being billed as a “full-service property ecosystem” aimed at streamlining the sales process and removing marketing cost barriers for agents.
“Our significant investment and broad media reach in promoting Aussie’s Property Search will drive substantial exposure for agents’ properties,” Rhett Dallwitz, Aussie’s general manager of agent services said.
“Combined with our commitment to VPA-free listings across off-market, pre-market, and on-market properties, including auctions – this creates a huge win-win for agents.”
The campaign is built on research commissioned by Aussie that found 65 per cent of Australian home owners feel “stuck and unsure” about selling and buying simultaneously.
The company is targeting these users, with messaging centred on reducing friction at key stages of the transaction journey.
“Find. Buy. Own. tackles this inertia head-on, positioning Aussie as the way to get there sooner and easier, with Aussie swooping in to help – a nod to our ‘we’ll save you’ brand legacy,” said Emily Lonsdale, general manager of growth.
“This is a huge moment for Aussie and we’re incredibly proud to bring this work to life to help customers stuck during one of life’s most important stages – buying their next home.”
