A dynamic husband-and-wife duo of Whyalla locals will lead Harcourts’ latest expansion in South Australia.

Husband and wife, Whitney and Sonny Phillis, will lead the Harcourt Whyalla office in South Australia and use their combined local insights to deliver tailored real estate services to the Whyalla area.

The network said that the duo were both born and raised in the Whyalla region, which has enabled them to establish themselves in their market for the local approach they bring to every transaction.

Alongside her previous real estate experience, Whitney Phillis also brings a bachelor of business and diploma of property services from the University of South Australia that has helped to hone her approach to client interactions.

Harcourts noted that the opening of the new Whyalla office held personal significance to Whitney and Sonny Phillis by allowing them to give back to their local community.

“Launching Harcourts Phillis is more than a business milestone for us it’s a commitment to the people and places that have been a part of our family for generations,” Whitney Phillis said.

To deliver on this commitment, Harcourts noted that the Phillis team aims to achieve purpose-driven growth by leveraging their deep local ties to the Whyalla region.

“We understand this region’s market on a level that only comes from living and breathing it every day,” she said.

“Our aim is to build lasting relationships, develop future leaders in real estate, and contribute to the growth of our local community.”

The Phillis team said they will focus on expanding their office, fostering leadership potential, and initiating partnerships to strengthen Harcourts Phillis’ footprint in the Whyalla area.

CEO of Harcourts South Australia, Heather Edwards, said the husband and wife’s unique insights would position them for success in the Whyalla market.

“Whitney and Sonny’s passion for the community and dedication to excellence have long set them apart in the real estate market,” Edwards said.

“Harcourts Phillis will undoubtedly be a trustful and impactful business, not only for its clients but also for the whole Whyalla region,” she concluded.

The new office opening marks the latest addition to the Harcourts network, which in the last month has added two new outposts in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

On the global scale, the co-owner and director of Harcourts International recently stepped aside as the brand welcomed in a new leadership team, including the CEO of Harcourts Australia, Adrian Knowles.
