Amid a time of rapid growth for the Sydney-based network, DiJones’ new head of licensing will use his wide-ranging business experience to recruit top talent and redefine the standard in real estate.
DiJones has appointed Jamie Trad to lead the brand’s licensing model and expansion strategy as it prepares to further strengthen its presence across the nation.
Trad brings a diverse array of experience across several Fortune 500 companies, media brands and start-ups, over the course of which he honed his skill set in leadership, growth strategy, and business development.
Through this skill set, DiJones said that Trad would spearhead the brand’s licensing development and network expansion, as it prepares to further expand across the Sydney market.
DiJones chief operating officer, Brent May, said that Trad brings an “unrivalled level of experience” from his previous roles outside the real estate sector, which equips him to offer in-depth insights into the brand’s operations and growth strategies.
“Coming from outside real estate, Jamie brings a fresh yet grounded perspective to business growth and transformation,” May said.
May also noted that the appointment was reflective of DiJones’ major investment into its licensing model and future growth strategy, which he said Trad was uniquely positioned to spearhead.
“In his role as head of licensing at DiJones, Jamie’s focus is on licensing development and network expansion. His aim is to attract high-performing agents and business owners who align with our values of quality, transparency and progress,” May said.
Moving into his new role, Trad said he is committed to positioning DiJones as the “most desirable real estate business to partner with in Australia”.
“Over the next 12 months, you’ll see DiJones expand into strategic, high-performing territories with the right people at the helm,” he said.
Trad said that this expansion would be strategically executed over the next year, explaining that every new licensee would be specially recruited to ensure they are equipped to achieve success with the DiJones brand.
“We’re scaling with purpose. Every new licensee is selected based on cultural alignment, leadership, potential and a shared vision for growth,” Trad said.
It’s a mindset that DiJones boldly displayed at AREC2025 last month, where the brand debuted an integrated recruitment campaign designed to attract top talent and boost brand visibility, and accelerate its strategic national expansion.
Trad emphasised that DiJones was beyond simply “chasing volume” and is instead focused on empowering its agents and franchises to thrive in the rapidly changing real estate landscape.
“We’re committed to quality, long-term partnerships and empowering our network with the tools and technology to succeed. It’s exciting to be part of a brand that’s redefining the standard in real estate,” he concluded.
