Harcourts has struck a deal with REIP Nexus to equip its property professionals with real-time data insights.

The proptech platform provides of-the-moment updates on factors like settled and unsettled sales, state data and partner listings in one centralised location.

Harcourts offices will now all be equipped with the cutting-edge technology, with the network’s CEO, Adrian Knowles, describing its ability to provide “the latest data and digital workflow solutions to transform and future-proof the industry” as significant for the brand.

Andrew Friebe, REIP Nexus’ director of partnerships, announced the partnership at Harcourts annual Australian leadership conference, with the news being warmly welcomed by the network’s personnel.

Mike Green, Harcourts managing director, is firmly of the belief that when it comes to information platforms, REIP Nexus is ahead of the rest.

“The REIP Nexus data platform has the most up-to-date data. No one can compete because it’s real-time data from the industry, for the industry to use,” Mr Green said.

“We all understand that data is the future – how we collect and use it is critical. With REIP Nexus, we can as an industry take control of our future using our data for our benefit,” he added.

Having formally launched in May 2023, the platform has already had wide take-up with leaders across the industry recognising that in a fast-paced market, being equipped with the latest information is key.

REIP’s platform came to fruition when it entered into a joint venture with data powerhouse Valocity to bring the product onto the market.

REIP chief executive Sadhana Smiles shared that the platform’s unique method of sourcing data straight from those involved with the transactions meant that the platform is able to provide a level of trust that the industry has been searching for.

“For far too long we have relied on third parties to provide insights for property appraisals which can often stimulate decisions made by a vendor. Now, as an industry, we can have faith and trust in a data platform that will support our industry with our own current, relevant and diversified data across sales and property management,” Ms Smiles said.

Harcourts commented that with REIP Nexus’ insights at agents’ fingertips, it is able to “ensure that the network and [its] customers alike have an experience like no other when it comes to navigating the real estate market”.
