Urban Real Estate has revealed Sydney’s growth suburb of Leppington is the location of its newest outpost.

According to the network, which now touts 14 offices across NSW, the latest opening aims to capitalise on a “busy” spring selling season, with auction clearance rates continuing to over up around 70 per cent.

Urban Real Estate is the new arm of Urban Land Housing, which was unveiled earlier this year.

The latest office opening follows the announcement of a 13th office in Box Hill, another Sydney growth suburb.

Urban Real Estate sales director, Trent Brewer, noted: “As the weather warms up, sales volume is on the rise, and now in line with the same time last year, enquiry has increased 45 per cent in the last three months, and average days on the market has reduced and is sitting below 10 days.”

Looking to the next three months, he indicated “numbers are looking strong”.

Honing in on the Leppington presence, Mr Brewer said the newest outpost would support offices in Denham Court and Edmondson Park while further accelerating Urban Real Estate’s expansion plans across Sydney’s growth corridors.

“We are already sales agents for a number of masterplanned communities in the south-west area, achieving great results for vendors, property developers and builders,” the director shared.

“Our new shopfront will help the business continue to service our growing customer base in this region and further nurture existing relationships. The property management service will assist the large investor market in this region,” he continued.

“Leppington is a dynamic, well-connected area in Sydney’s rapidly expanding south-west, and is home to many young families. First home buyers, young families, investors and downsizers are all recognising value in Leppington. Future growth plans and its connectivity to major infrastructure makes the area an appealing place to live,” he pointed out.

His perspective is backed up by CoreLogic data that showed the suburb has seen 48.8 per cent growth in house values since the onset of COVID-19.

Calling the suburb “one of Western Sydney’s most popular suburbs”, Mr Brewer also acknowledged there “are few new suburbs that already have multiple schools, shopping centres and a train station already in place to service the increasing population”.

“Leppington’s growth is driven by its convenience and accessibility to major infrastructure. There is something that appeals to everyone at different lifecycle stages, whether it is a young family looking for a school or [an] elderly person seeking a seniors’ living environment all within five minutes from home. Western Sydney International Airport is also a short 20-minute drive away and is already creating opportunities for future employment and property growth, which is a very attractive proposition for our customers,” he continued.
